ART EDUCATION

Universal Self Educational Program.  I am the creator of the Universal Self Educational Program which was launched in 2012 within the NYC Department of Education.  I designed a 10-week poetry, music and theatre performance program within GED communities and Alternative High Schools across Brooklyn, NY.  I highlighted excerpts from my one man show entitled, “Universal Filipino,” to encourage participants to explore themes of emotional intelligence, hip hop and community development.  From 2012-2017, the Universal Self Educational Program expanded into school wide assemblies and workshops across the country, tailored for collegiate environments.
